Smog is a type of air pollution that comes mostly from coal-fired power plants and from cars. Smog and other types of air pollution can cause health problems including chest pain, coughing, breathing difficulties, inflammation, throat irritation and congestion. And it can make conditions like bronchitis, emphysema and asthma worse or even fatal.
