Alberta Clipper MN PUC Hearing Poster

April 3: Stop the expansion of tar sands in Minnesota!

Tar sands are one of the dirtiest sources of oil on Earth -- and more of it could be flowing through Minnesota and the Great Lakes region if we don't act now.

A proposed expansion of the Alberta Clipper pipeline would allow nearly as much tar sands to flow across Minnesota as the controversial Keystone XL pipeline would carry. To avoid worsening climate disruption, it's clear that we must keep this dirty oil in the ground, not speed its extraction by building more pipeline capacity. And the last thing we need is more dangerous tar sands flowing through Minnesota and the Great Lakes.

On Thursday, April 3, you will have a chance to stop this expansion from happening. Join us in St. Paul to stand against tar sands and Alberta Clipper!

Let us know you're coming! Here are the details -- You can RSVP below:

WHAT: Minnesota Public Utilities Commission hearing on proposed Alberta Clipper pipeline expansion, with a rally and march beforehand if you can make it!

WHERE: Rally begins in Downtown St. Paul at Kellogg Park (at Kellogg Boulevard East & Robert Street North) and march ends at the Public Utilities Commission - 121 7th Place East, St Paul, MN 55101 [Map]

WHEN: Thursday, April 3; Rally at 1:30 p.m., hearing starts at 3 p.m. (If you're interested in testifying at the hearing, sign-up begins at 2 p.m. We'll give you more information after you RSVP.)
