Tar sands are one of the dirtiest sources of oil on Earth -- and more of it could be flowing through Minnesota and the Great Lakes region if we don't act now.
A proposed expansion of the Alberta Clipper pipeline would allow nearly as much tar sands to flow across Minnesota as the controversial Keystone XL pipeline would carry. To avoid worsening climate disruption, it's clear that we must keep this dirty oil in the ground, not speed its extraction by building more pipeline capacity. And the last thing we need is more dangerous tar sands flowing through Minnesota and the Great Lakes.
On Thursday, April 3, you will have a chance to stop this expansion from happening. Join us in St. Paul to stand against tar sands and Alberta Clipper!
