Did you know that West Virginia has the fourth highest level of mercury pollution in the country?1 Mercury and other dangerous air pollutants coming from coal-fired power plants are connected to extreme health problems like brain damage, learning disabilities and birth defects.

Fortunately, there are steps you can take to protect yourself and your family, and the EPA is scheduled to issue new standards within the month, to cut power plants' mercury emissions by 90 percent. Come find out more on the 8th.
