RSVP: Stand up to the fracking industry

Colorado is poised to adopt groundbreaking clean air regulations that would limit pollution from oil and gas fracking, but Big Polluters are fighting tooth and nail to stop these common sense safeguards.

Oil and gas companies are lobbying the AQCC to allow them to pollute as much as they like -- more smog, more methane, and more climate pollution. You have the chance to make your voice heard by attending or phoning in to the February 19 hearing and demanding this commission put the health of our communities first.

What: Colorado Air Quality Control Commission Public Comment Day
Who: You, fellow Sierra Club activists and other concerned citizens who want clean air in Colorado
When: Wednesday, February 19 from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Where: Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Pkwy., Aurora, CO (map)

Questions: Email Cathy at

Sign up today! Your presence will send a strong message to the Air Quality Control Commission that our families and communities must be protected from dangerous and dirty fracking.
