Take Action: Keep Our Wild and Scenic Rivers Wild
Legislators from Minnesota and Wisconsin are pushing a radical bill that would facilitate the construction of a $700 million bridge over a protected river. The bill passed the Senate and could be voted on in the House as early as this Wednesday. This bill would set a never-before-seen precedent, as such a highway has never been allowed over a congressionally designated wild and scenic river. Please urge your representative to oppose this bill. |

Grassroots Activism: Lower 9th Ward Successes
