Apply to the Global Population and Environment Program's Advocacy and Fellows Training
Interested in the links between population, reproductive health, and environmental sustainability? Apply to our Advocacy and Fellows training in Washington, DC, to be held the weekend of February 26 & 27, 2011. This training offers participants the opportunity to gain information and skills to be effective leaders on environmental issues and sexual and reproductive health and rights on their campuses and in their communities.
Youth attendees will be trained as 2011 Sierra Club Population and Environment Fellows, and will receive up to $1000 to implement their own campaigns. All travel, hotel, and food costs will be covered for youth attendees. Food will be covered for adult attendees. Applicants from all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

The Global Population & Environment Program has had a busy 6 months, exploring Population, Health, & Environment (PHE) Programs in Ethiopia, hosting events with activists from Texas to New Jersey and everywhere in between, and working with other Sierra Club programs to improve local communities and the planet!
