Sierra Club Ohio’s Administrative Advocacy and Education Programs

Sierra Club Ohio Chapter is a CHAMPION for energy efficiency and clean energy. In 2009, we DEFEATED a new coal plant proposed by AMP Ohio. Today, we COLLABORATE with consumer advocates, faith organizations, veterans, green businesses, and utilities to PROMOTE energy efficiency and renewable energy, resulting in homegrown green jobs and cleaner air.

Our members CONDUCT water testing throughout the state, and we INVESTIGATE dangerous sewer overflows into our rivers. Because of our efforts, communities throughout Ohio are implementing plans to better protect our sources of drinking water.

We FIGHT nuclear power and dirty coal plants, PROTECT state forests, CLEAR nature trails, LEAD nature outings, and EDUCATE the public.

We have a lot of work to do, and we can’t do it without your help! 100% of your donation is tax deductible and will be used for environmental efforts right here in Ohio!
