New York continues to face a powerful threat.  Can we stop the oil and gas industry from fracking in our state?

Thanks to supporters like you, NY is the first state in the nation to hold off the most severe form of fracking – for now.

We must be prepared for the worst.  Defeat would industrialize some of the most pristine areas of our state, pipe radon-contaminated natural gas into downstate kitchens, and set up New York for a ruinous boom-and-bust cycle.

Rather than allowing this dirty drilling, we should be focusing on meeting our energy needs through the development of clean, sustainable energy sources, including solar, wind, and energy efficiency/conservation. Our focus now should be on maximizing New York's potential to establish a vibrant renewable energy policy, not in allowing dirty, dangerous fracking to ruin our beautiful state!

Please help us protect New York by sending a contribution to counter this rush to drill!
