Don't let billionaires buy our elections!

Big Coal CEO Shaun McCutcheon is demanding the right to donate as much as he wants in an election cycle -- and the top Senate Republican, Mitch McConnell, is onboard, eager for all that coal cash.

If they win, a small band of corporate polluters will be able to buy more elections than ever before.

As the U.S. solicitor general said, that would mean "Less than 500 people can fund the whole shooting match. The government will be run of, by, and for those 500 people."

But there is good news: Several leaders in Congress are standing up and fighting back. From overturning Citizens United to demanding more disclosure, it's up to us to show them they have grassroots support.

Do you have 30 seconds? Together, let's send 60,000 petition signatures to these reform champions so they'll know we support fair elections!

No more dirty money in our elections!

Dear [Decision Maker],

Thank you for your work with the DARE task force -- please keep it up! Your efforts on campaign finance reform are more critical now than ever before. 2014 is going to be another record-breaking election, and the Supreme Court could make things even worse with a decision in McCutcheon v. FEC.

Your leadership on money in politics has been critical in the past, and we will support you if you continue to push for reforms of the way our elections are financed -- including legislation to empower small donors and an amendment to overturn Citizens United.

Thank you!
