Stop Clearcutting in California's Forests!

Clearcutting in hundreds of thousands of acres of forests is harming water quality, forest health and communities throughout the state. Help protect California's communities and natural resources by ending this outdated and destructive practice once and for all.

Large timber companies clearcut over 60,000 acres of California's forests each year, leaving environmental devastation in their wake. This state could be a model for returning logging to selective harvesting methods, thus preserving our forest environments, while providing for more sustainable jobs, but only if our leaders end this outdated practice and support more sustainable methods.

We need to ask Governor Brown to take leadership to end clearcutting in our state. Please ask Governor Brown to stop clearcutting in California:
