Stop Flushing Money Down the Drain

Did you know that Ohio leads the nation in Combined Sewer Overflows, and that Cincinnati is the third worst city in the country?

A combined sewer overflow occcurs when stormwater from houses, roads and parking lots enters the sewer, mixes with sewage and then overflows directly into our streams and rivers. Sewage overflows threaten our health and the health of our environment.

Cincinnati's Mill Creek was the nations most polluted river, and it is still plauged by sewage overflows. The Clean Water Act requires the Metropolitian Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati to reduce sewage overflows.

Please send a message to the Metropolitian Sewer District asking them to make clean water a priority for all Ohioians.

We all live downstream.
