Protect Our Ancient Forests and Wild Rivers

The Olympic Peninsula is an invaluable source of natural beauty, wildlife habitat, and prosperity for Washington. But these wild forests and rivers remain vulnerable -- threatened by roadbuilding and logging, and in danger of being converted into real estate.

To preserve the Olympics we must grant them lasting protection from harmful development that would damage vital wildlife habitat, world class recreation, and our way of life.

This means designating vital rivers as "wild and scenic," expanding Wilderness designation to critical lands, and allowing land owners to voluntarily sell their property to ensure its protection.

Sign our petition and urge your representatives to grant the Olympics the strongest protections possible and safeguard these ancient forests and wild rivers before it is too late.
