Stop NM State Agency from Undercutting Clean Air

The New Mexico Environment Department has made proposed revisions to the Regional Haze Program, which would result in using pollution controls that would only clean up 20% of smog forming emissions from coal plants, instead of the EPA proposed technology which would result in a much better 80% reduction of these pollutants.

Urge the Environmental Improvement Board to accept the strong pollution controls recommended by the EPA.
