Keep ATVs Out of Vermont's Forests

WoodsIn 2010, Governor Douglas pushed through a rule change that would allow all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) access to state lands. Fortunately, Governor Peter Shumlin and Agency of Natural Resources Secretary Deb Markowitz, have begun the process to reverse the Douglas Administration’s decision to allow ATV’s on state land.

But the ATV lobby is likely to pressure the Shumlin Administration into making serious concessions. Please tell Governor Shumlin and Secretary Markowitz that you applaud their decision and urge them to stand strong!

Targets:

  • Governor Peter Shumlin
  • Agency of Natural Resources Secretary Deb Markowitz
