Continued reliance on fossil fuels makes our communities sick and furthers impacts of climate disruption.Young people especially are impacted by pollution from coal and gas. In Florida, and other fossil fuels and will face more threats from climate disruption.

The good news is that Florida International University and our surrounding communities can choose clean energy. Their actions and demands for 100% clean energy will put significant pressure on our state and regional utilities to start buying more wind and solar and less dirty and dangerous coal, natural gas and nuclear power.
