Find a real solution for the Elliott State Forest

6739370953_a6e9ef6619_b.jpgThe Department of State Lands (DSL) is currently engaged in a process of investigating what DSL and the State Land Board can do about the Elliott State Forest. Under an archaic management scheme, the Elliott is tied to the Common School Fund and has been losing money for the last few years, rather than creating funding for our schools. So far, the solution of the State Land Board (consisting of Governor John Kitzhaber, Secretary of State Kate Brown, and State Treasurer Ted Wheeler) has been to start selling off pieces of the Elliott to the highest bidder.

Tell DSL and the State Land Board that we need real solutions to this problem that keep the Elliott in public ownership!
