Tell the Rosemead City Council you care about the San Gabriels!

Miles upon miles of concrete. Unrelenting traffic congestion. Living in the Los Angeles area can be a grind. Luckily, within a one hour drive from Rosemead there is a wonderland of nature and great recreational destination: the San Gabriel Mountains. Unfortunately, many people in our region do not know about this magnificent natural resource.  Additionally, many kids in our region also do not have access to parks or green spaces in their own neighborhoods.

This is why the San Gabriel Mountains Forever coalition is working diligently to increase access to healthy, outdoor recreational opportunities in our region. Tell the Rosemead city council that you care about protecting the San Gabriel Mountains and increasing healthy recreational opportunities for families and youth in your city!

Tell the Rosemead City Council to pass a city resolution in support of permanent protections of the San Gabriel Mountains and Rivers and improve the quality of life for everyone in our region.

I want to see the San Gabriel Mountains protected!

Dear [Decision Maker],

The San Gabriel Mountains are in our backyard. They provide Los Angeles County with one third of its drinking water and 70% of its open space. They also provide important habitat for fish and wildlife. Many of our local communities suffer from limited access to open space, healthy recreational opportunities, and environmental education.

Therefore, as a resident of the City of Rosemead, I urge my city council to pass a city resolution in support of permanent protections of the San Gabriel Mountains and Rivers with federal designations that enhance air quality, water supply and water quality, recreational opportunities, and our quality of life.
