Urge Your Senator to Vote NO on SB 411

Providing immunity from liability from the waste stream that starts out as AMD and ends up as fracking wastewater is potentially hazardous and could result in contamination occurring with no person responsible for cleaning up the mess.

In the past, these situations have resulted in taxpayer funded cleanups or in ongoing degradation of our environment. The Good Samaritan Law for treating abandoned mine sites should only apply to those who actually treat mine drainage.

Please ask your Senator to oppose SB 411.

Please Oppose SB 411

Dear [Decision Maker],

Please do not pass SB 411. This bill purports to facilitate the reuse of acid mine drainage for beneficial purposes, but it does not restrict the uses so that it will not cause further pollution.

Please oppose SB 411.

Sincerely,
