Don't make superstorms a way of life!

On the eve of international climate negotiations in Warsaw, Poland, Typhoon Haiyan became the second extreme weather event to devastate the Philippines in 12 months.

Philippine delegate Nadarev Saño addressed the delegates with an impassioned plea for meaningful action to address climate disruption, framing the devastating typhoon as the latest tragic example of extreme weather and saying: "What my country is going through as a result of this extreme climate event is madness. The climate crisis is madness."

Without real ambition in Warsaw, the madness brought by superstorms like Haiyan will become the norm.

Tell Secretary of State John Kerry to show strong U.S. leadership in tackling climate disruption at next week’s negotiations in Poland.
