Ask your state senator to vote NO on softening renewable requirements for electric co-ops

Coal-fired power plant

Senate Bill 204 gives electric co-ops double renewable energy credit for biomass electrical and thermal generation projects. This bill weakens the already soft requirements for electric co-op renewable energy and lacks any specific forest management guidelines re: possible resource harvesting. Please contact your senator to vote NO on SB204.
